Surrey Board of Trade policy manager retires

After 12 years with the Surrey Board of Trade, Ray Hudson, the board’s policy and communications manager, will be retiring, effective July 31.

“The Surrey Board of Trade has enjoyed the diverse skill sets and the innovation that he brought to his role in government advocacy as well as communications following a 23-year career with the CBC,” said Anita Huberman, CEO of the Surrey Board of Trade. “We could not have built the Surrey Board of Trade to where it is today without him. We will miss him.”

Hudson said he is honoured to haved worked with some “amazing” people.

“The presidents, directors and staff members… I wish the Surrey Board of Trade success as in its pivotal role in the development of Surrey’s business community,” Hudson said. “It is with great satisfaction that I can look back on the experience of having participated in many of the successes of the Surrey Board of Trade.”
