Surrey’s Progressive Intercultural Community Services (PICS) Society has launched a youth business development program.

As a part of this initiative, PICS is offering to help potential young entrepreneurs break into the business world, through providing pre- and post-launch coaching, financing, mentoring and business resources.

PICS’ Start-Up Program offers young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 34 loans of up to $45,000, and its Newcomer Program offers loans of up to $15,000. After running a successful business for three to five years, young entrepreneurs may be eligible for the Expansion Program, which provides financing of up to $30,000 to assist with growing the business further.
