The Inverglen Scottish Dancers of Abbotsford recently performed at the Beltaine Festival in the principality of Asturias, Spain from July 9-16.
They are the first Canadian performers to be invited to the annual Celtic festival in Aviles.
While there, they performed along side groups from France, England, Scotland and Spain.
The traditional Scottish Highland and country dances, as well as dances choreographed by Sandra Crosby, the Inverglen Scottish Dance School teacher and choreographer, were met with rave reviews on the main stage and in the streets.
Festival organizers said they would be happy to have the girls, aged 13-26, back again.
