The Lower Mainland’s biggest outdoor country music event is gearing up for this summer’s festival with ticket sales ahead of last year’s pace and early bird ticket pricing ending this month.
The three-night Rockin’ River Musicfest will end its early bird ticket pricing April 30.
The event will be held again at Mission Raceway Park, and will feature performers such as Rascal Flatts, Terri Clark, Gord Bamford, The Road Hammers, Hey Romeo, Julian Austin and more in its Aug. 7-9 lineup.
Last year, the festival fell just short of 30,000 people attending over the three days. This year camping has expanded again and festival organizers are counting on even more people attending.
The 2014 event begins Aug. 7 with its Kickoff Party welcoming campers and music fans with Canadian country star Julian Austin and the Chris Buck Band. Some great tribute bands — Aerosmith Rocks, High Voltage (AC/DC), and Legzz (ZZ Top) — will also grace the three stages.
Tickets and camping reservations are now available at rockinriverfest.com, Lepp Farms in Abbotsford, as well as select Lower Mainland London Drugs and Lordco outlets.
