Big Fish: considering the narrative features artwork by Lee Claremont, Joanne Gervais, Asher Klassen, Liane Mclaren, Shauna Oddleifson and Amber Powell.

“Through animation, collage, drawing, painting and mixed media, these six artists come together to tell tales of life’s mysteries,” said LCAG curator Wanda Lock.

Also opening is the Cool Arts Exhibition in the Pop-Up Gallery (located in the ArtHouse next to the LC Art Gallery).

Opening reception for all exhibitions is Saturday, Jan. 14 from 2-4 p.m. An Existential Cafe Artists’ talk with the Big Fish artists will take place at 1 p.m.

The LCAG is also calling for submissions for its Art Through the Ages intergenerational exhibition.

Artwork will be accepted at the gallery Feb. 23 to 25. The exhibition runs from March 1 to April 1. Visit the gallery’s website at lakecountryartgallery.ca for more information and submission guidelines.
