Bass-heavy music tour to visit Penticton

Safe In Sound will have stacks rattling at SOEC on Oct. 12

Safe In Sound music festival is coming to the South Okanagan Events Centre this fall on a 20 city tour through September and October, setting a new standard for bass music presentation.

Getting those bass-bins and stacks rattling on Safe In Sound will be some of the biggest names to emerge from the bass scene, including Caked Up, Destroid (Excision’s Super Group), Doctor P, Flux Pavlion, and Terravita.

Safe In Sound Festival will take over amphitheaters, arenas, ballrooms and various outdoor venues on the tour, arriving in Penticton on Thanksgiving weekend for an Oct. 12 concert at 7 p.m.

This event will also be something of a homecoming for Okanagan Valley natives Excision and Downlink, two of the performers behind Destroid, along with KJ Sawka.

Advance tickets go on sale July 25 at 10 a.m. and are available at Valley First Box Office, Wine Country Visitor Centre, online at www.valleyfirsttix.com or by phone at 1-877-763-2849. General admission is $59.95 and vip passes are $99.95, which includes priority entry through private entrance, exclusive vip area on floor with private bar service, souvenir tour laminate and lanyard.
