Rock.It Boy Entertainment has cancelled the upcoming concert by Doucette on Thursday, Dec. 15 at the Cascades Casino Resort Summit Theatre, 20393 Fraser Hwy due to unforeseeable circumstances.

Canadian guitar legend Jerry Doucette will perform his iconic rock music at Cascades Casino in Langley on Thursday, Dec. 15, bringing back hits such as Mama Let Him Play, Nobody, Big Gov’t Man and Miracles.

Doucette learned to play guitar from his father and uncle, who were both musicians, and joined his first band, The Reefers, at the age of 11.

Playing in several bands throughout his youth, he launched his self-named group, Doucette in 1977.

Their first album Mama Let Him Play went platinum in Canada, and their success was followed by gold album The Douce is Loose in 1979, which also earned them a Juno Award for Most Promising Group of the Year.
