The Fraser Valley Symphony presents the concert “Hidden Gems” on Sunday, April 6 with music from the classical and romantic periods.
Award-winning violist Nikita Pogrebnoy of the Borealis String Quartet joins the symphony to perform the Stamitz Concerto and the Benda Grave.
The concert is at Matsqui Centennial Auditorium, 32315 South Fraser Way. Doors open at 2:30 p.m., and the concert begins at 3 p.m.
Tickets are $16 for adults, $13 for seniors/students, and $6 for children (12 and under).

Fraser Valley Symphony seeks new members
The Fraser Valley Symphony, celebrating its 30th anniversary concert season, is seeking new members in the violin, viola and percussion sections, but welcomes inquiries from other interested musicians.

Founded in 1984, the Fraser Valley Symphony performs alongside world-class instrumental and vocal soloists, and provides a forum for auditioned musicians to present a variety of orchestral music.
