Dan Quinn is a rising star in the stand-up comedy and acting community, and is poised to be the spokesperson for his generation.
Quinn has performed at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. He won the Funniest Comic In Canada competition, and after the show was immediately approached by dozens of Hollywood executives.
He took meetings with Disney, Paramount, Dream Works, ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX. Several dozen agents and managers also approached him from New York to LA. After careful consideration, he chose the acting company APA.
Quinn’s comedy and delivery is similar in style to Ben Stiller. It is subtle, and friendly. He covers a wide range of topics that are taken from his life. These include moose-hunting, the stupidity of drinking and driving, relationship issues, and his questions about sex.
This guy relates to the 20-something crowd better than most comics in the country. People like Quinn’s style and they feel they have made a friend as well as seen a performance to which they can relate.
Quinn will headline Comedy Night at the Avalanche Bar and Grill on March 24.
The laughter starts at 8 p.m. and the cover is $10.
