The BC Gem Show takes place in Abbotsford from April 11 to 13 at the Ag-Rec Building (32470 Haida Drive).
The show includes educational displays, demonstrations, games and vendors selling rocks and minerals.
This year’s theme is “Petrified: Locked in Time,” featuring the fossils of large mosasaurs – extinct marine reptiles.
Show hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $6 for adults, $2 for students ages six to 17, and free for kids under six.
