City Dance Okanagan presents Dance: Global Fusion, a celebration of music and dance from around the world.

Taking part in the March 29 event at the Vernon Performing Arts Centre are Paul and Melina Moore, RG Stars – Okanagan Rythmic Gymnastics, Diversity Dance, the Aviemore Highland dancers and Zumba with Sareena.

“City Dance studio will present numbers in ballroom, Latin, swing and country genres,” said Heather Stranks, with City Dance.

“Other dance genres will include Polynesian, Hawaiian, Scottish, Irish, African, Moroccan, lyrical, contemporary, ballet and more. You will enjoy exciting and diverse dance styles from the world over.”

With partial proceeds, a donation will be made to the Have a Heart Radiothon benefitting the women and children’s department at Vernon Jubilee Hospital.

“Our studio has been practicing for more than three months to present this fabulous show,” said Stranks.

“Our goal with this annual presentation is to bring awareness of the many talented dancers and singers that we have in Vernon and bring them all together on one stage.”

There will be shows at 2 and 8 p.m. at the Vernon Performing Arts Centre.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for children and students. They are available at the Ticketseller box office or by calling 250-549-SHOW (7469) or going to www.ticketseller.ca
