Highlands Coffee House goes this Saturday

Jessica Benin of Victoria featured in this month's night of music

Put a little spring in your step Saturday (April 9) at Highlands Music Coffee House at the historic Caleb Pike House.

Featured artist Jessica Benini is a Victoria-based singer-songwriter, guitarist and foot-stomping harmonica player. Her musical style is a mix of folk, roots, blues, gospel and country. All of that is blended with her own saltwater sound.

Joining Benini on stage will be Whitey Somers on mandolin and lead guitar, Moritz Behm on mandolin and fiddle, and Todd Sacerty on bass.

The open mic portion of the evening will include the musical stylings of Jack Stevenson and Anne Waters.

Caleb Pike House is at 1589 Millstream Rd. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and the cost is a $5 donation toward an honorarium for the musicians. It’s free for children 14 and under. For more information or to book a performance, email zhinoos9@gmail.com.
