The Highlands Music Coffee House is getting a Celtic twist this month.
Taking the stage this Saturday (Dec. 10) at 7:30 p.m. is Cookeilidh. The band has been performing high energy traditional and modernized Celtic tunes for the past nine years. Comprised of a 12-string guitar, electric bass, Irish flute, fiddle, bodhran and vocals, the group weaves their own blend of “Trad with Attitude.”
With tunes from Ireland and Scotland, blended with some maritime flavour and a dash of folk, the band promises a festive evening that’s sure to be entertaining.
