After five years of successful shows across Western Canada, the cast and crew of the Louisiana Hayride are bringing their special Christmas show that features some of the most popular hits from the Louisiana Hayride as well as seasonal favourites.

“Hank Williams will show up and be on his best behaviour, and will sing a couple of his big hits. Always a favourite, Patsy Cline will be there with her signature song, Crazy and one of her favourite Christmas songs, Let It Snow,” said show creator Lori Risling. “Roy Orbison is back with a couple of pretty songs: Pretty Paper and Pretty Woman. Loretta Lynn also promises to make an appearance.”

The cast of multi-talented musicians include William Brookfield on double keyboard, guitar and vocals, who will perform Christmas songs by Johnny Cash and Jim Reeves as well as his version of Little Drummer Boy.

Mike Melnichuk adds standup bass, electric guitar and vocals to Have A Holly Jolly Christmas, White Christmas and It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas.

Gil Risling plays electric and acoustic guitar and adds  vocals when in character as Williams and Orbison, while Andrea Anderson, as Cline and Lynn, has been known to bring tears to the eyes with her rendition of How Great Thou Art.
