Although artist Hieronymus Bosch was born in 1450, his artwork continues to leave an impression on modern audiences. Nearly half a million people from around the world have recently visited his home town of Den Bosch, Netherlands to see one of the largest exhibitions of his work: Jheronimus Bosch — Visions of Genius at Het Noordbrabants Museum.

Now, Canadian audiences are being offered a front-row seat to this exhibit. As part of the In The Gallery series, Cineplex Events is bringing Exhibition on Screen’s documentary The Curious World of Hieronymus Bosch to Canadian theatres, including in Langley, on Dec. 14 and Jan. 8.

The documentary looks at the life of Bosch, and reveals some of the stories within his pieces that are on display in the Netherlands.
