The grounds at Kinnaird Park were filling up before her first song, A Hard Day’s Night by The Beatles, even ended.
Melody Daichun and Friends did not disappoint those who attended last night’s free concert, part of the Concerts in the Park series.
A polished an accomplished performer, Daichun was nominated for ‘Female Vocalist of the Year’ at Canada’s National Jazz Awards in 2009 and has released three albums.
The concert series runs every Wednesday night at 7 p.m. If weather becomes an issue, shows will go on at the Community Complex.
