Summer time is here and with it comes some outdoor music for Okanagan Falls and the whole family.
Once a month concerts will be held at the WI Bandshell in Centennial Park.
These concerts will be on Sundays once a month with the first being on June 19.
Elvis Tribute artist Jeff Bodner and Terri Bremner from 5 to 9 p.m. Donations are appreciated, but all you have to bring is a chair.
Future entertainment includes Dale Seaman and a surprise guest on July 31, on Aug. 28 the Flashback, Sept. 18 Mickie and Ken and in October a back to school special concert. All concerts take place in the evenings until September when the weather cools and concerts will switch to afternoons.
A small committee has been formed to make sure the WI Bandshell is used for the enjoyment of all. This committee is comprised of Mert Niles, with many years of experience putting on shows, Marla Wilson, who is a expert at obtaining grants and Barb Few. This committee is committed to bring the best to Okanagan Falls.
The first concert is sponsored by Regional District Okanagan-Similkameen. Other sponsors are welcome.
