Canada’s National Ballet School is daring Nanaimo dancers to dream and perhaps join the school’s full-time professional ballet programs.
The school is holding auditions and open classes in Nanaimo Friday (Nov. 6) at Kirkwood Academy, located at 2138 Bowen Road.
Auditions are being held for the professional ballet program, for students in Grades 6-12, and the post secondary program for high school graduates.
The minimum age to audition is 10, and students under 12 years old aren’t required to have prior ballet training.
The auditions run from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
