Every Saturday at the Shady Rest (3109 W. Island Hwy., Qualicum Beach) is live music from local bands from 7-11 p.m.
Oct. 1 is Lazy Mike and the Rockin’ Recliners, who just released their fourth album earlier this month.
The Enablers will be playing some classic rock on Oct. 8.
Oct. 15 is classic rock trio, Identity Crisis.
Sea Cruze, singing a mix of oldies and classic rock, is playing at the pub on Oct. 22.
Oct. 29 is a special Halloween party with the Crissinger Band, a contemporary blues band, from Nanaimo. The Crissinger Band is a new act for the Shady Rest.
Wednesdays are jazz nights at the Shady Rest pub featuring Gary Hodi and guests, playing jazz, blues and contemporary from 6-9 p.m.
Fridays at 7 p.m. is music trivia night at the pub. People can get a team together and win prizes.
