Opening Nite Theatre presents And Then There Were None

The Agatha Christie play comes to the ONTS theatre in Mission.

Mission’s Opening Nite Theatre Society’s (ONTS) production of the  Agatha Christie play And Then There Were None opens Friday, March 9.

The story revolves around eight strangers who are lured to the mysterious Soldier Island. Some of them believe that they’ve been invited by an old friend. The rest have been hired by a mysterious employer.

After their first dinner, once they’re all in the drawing-room, a voice reads out a list of accusations against them. Each one is accused of murdering at least one person, and they have been brought to the island to pay for their crimes.

No one is sure what to make of the recording. Everyone goes to bed uneasy, some feeling guilty,  others just worried about their safety.

Then, one by one, people begin to die.

The play runs March 9-11, 16-18 and 23-25 at the ONTS theatre located at 33227 Railway Ave. in Mission.

Evening performances are at 8 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $12 and are  available from Murdoch’s Bookshoppe on 1st Avenue in Mission, or at the door.

The March 10 production features an exhibition by Mission artist Joy, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

A collection of her works will be exhibited during the run of the play.
