Passport to culture in Abbotsford

The passports provides prize incentives for members of the community to attend multiple Culture Days events in Abbotsford

The Abbotsford Arts Council (AAC) announces the release of the Culture Days Abbotsford Activity Passport.

The pamphlet is sponsored in partnership with Globe Printers to promote several arts and culture organizations’ activities hosted in Abbotsford during Culture Days.

The annual three-day national celebration runs from Sept. 26 to 28.

In addition to event promotion, use of the passports provides prize incentives for members of the community to attend multiple Culture Days events in Abbotsford throughout the weekend.

Activities include acting workshops, dance lessons, cartoon drawing, and more.

Participants are invited to drop by one of the participating organizations during Culture Days to get an activity passport and collect stamps for the chance to win prizes.

Participating groups are: the Abbotsford Arts Council and the Kariton Art Gallery, Abbotsford Children’s Theatre, Suburban Swing, Fraser Valley Regional Library, AbbyFest, the City of Abbotsford, Gallery 7 Theatre, Abbotsford Community Services, Khalsa Diwan Society Abbotsford, and the Abbotsford Youth Commission.

A schedule of the activities can be viewed by visiting abbotsfordartscouncil.org.

Culture Days events are free to attend. However, some require advanced registration.
