The Penticton Tune-Agers choir and orchestra, along with conductor Gordon Dawson, are looking forward to another good year, starting early in September.

This group of singers and musicians invite others age 50 and over to join them.

Auditions are scheduled for immediately after the second practice.

The Tune-Agers will hold several Christmas concerts in December, including one in Summerland, and a spring concert in April.

They will also host this year’s Extravaganza, a concert featuring a number of local choirs, on Nov. 22.

Members are 50 and older, from communities in the south Okanagan.

All practices are at the Shatford Centre, 760 Main St., Penticton. Choir practices are Tuesday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon, beginning Sept. 8. The orchestra practises Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon, beginning Sept. 17.
