More than 220 people attended Quadra Singers’ December concert, and fundraising through Friends of Quadra Singers last year raised enough money to build much-needed choral risers, now available for community use on Quadra.
“Building on the success of our December concert, Quadra Singers will perform several songs linked by a water theme. Sing into Spring will also feature flute solos and a short set by quartet Quadra Voce,” says choir director Linda Cannon.
As part of its spring session, Quadra Singers performed at a fundraiser for North Island Survivors Healing Society and will also perform at Quadra Elementary and at care homes in Campbell River.
Advance tickets for Sing into Spring ($10 adults) are available on Quadra Island at Hummingbird Arts and Supply, Book Bonanza and Quadra Crafts.
Tickets will also be available at the door ($12 adults).
