Time is running out to register Fresh BC Talent Quest in Penticton.
The deadline for performer registration is Jan. 12.
Performers’ workshops take place Jan 21 and are designed in part to critique stage, voice and music skills in a fun and interactive way with music coaches and professional musicians.
By request, a special songwriters’ workshop has been added. Robyn and Ryleigh of Royal Records (Sony Canada) recording artists, as well as David Wills of RCA Records and lead singer/songwriter of Stonebolt. Wills is currently involved in artist management (R&R group) studio production and continues to perform at special U.S. and Canadian festival reunion tours.
The songwriters’ workshop is hosted at Sandman Hotel on Jan. 21. Open to all singer song writers, performers, and guests. Tickets available at the hotel front desk and are $15. Doors open 6:30 p.m. Meet the special guest artists following the songwriters’ presentation.

As well, an art logo contest is open to ages nine and up for Talent Quest merchandising items (hats, scarfs, toques, hoodies, etc.) to sell at shows with all proceeds to Fresh BC Talent Quest.
