See How They Run
Yale Secondary is presenting See How they Run, by Philip King. Adapted as a film in 1955, the show is a comedic tale of mistaken identity.
The play takes place on May 5 at 8 p.m., May 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14 at 7 p.m. All performances are at Yale theatre, 34620 Old Yale Rd.
Tickets are available at the door for $5 on Thursday and $10 on Friday and Saturday.
Ukrainian Festival
The 16th annual B.C. Ukrainian Cultural Festival is taking place at the Clarke Theatre, 33700 Prentis Ave., in Mission on May 7.
Dance troupes from regions across B.C. will be represented at the event.
Along with the dance competitions, which begin at 9 a.m., the day-long event will include musical performances, cultural exhibits, demonstrations and traditional food.

CD Release
JC Celebration Band is celebrating the release of its first CD, Come Follow Me, at Abbotsford Farmers’ Market on Saturday, May 7 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Urban Star Quest
Celebrate International Astronomy Day on May 7 from noon until 9 a.m. on May 8 at Aldergrove Lake Regional Park. Activities range from crafts in the daytime to a guided walk in the evening.
To take part in the open-air, all night event, participants must arrive before 11 p.m.
