The Vancouver celebrity tribute artist is returning to town with a brand, new show called Country Queens April 21 at the Royal Canadian Legion.

The show is a fund-raiser for a local resident and friend of Kilroe’s who has been recently diagnosed with an immune disorder.

In the show, Kilroe brings to life some favourite female country music legends. She not only looks like them, she talks like them, and, most importantly, she sings like them.

Some of Kilroe’s performances include Patsy Cline’s Walkin’ after Midnight and Crazy, Tanya Tucker’s Delta Dawn, Dolly Parton’s rendition of 9 to 5, and the audience participation for Parton’s A Lil’ Ole Bitty Pissant Country Place, which she says always proves to be a crowd-pleaser.

“If you love country music and you love your country music sung by the female stars of country, then this is definitely the show for you,” said Kilroe.

The April 21 show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20, available at the Legion, 4609 29th St., or call 250-542-2696. All proceeds from Country Queens, will go to Kilroe’s friend.
