Acoustic roots and blues musician, Sue Decker, will bring her slide guitar and mix of origional and cover songs to Char’s Landing on Saturday, April 30 at 8 p.m.
Decker’s songs embody the spirit of early blues, folk, bluegrass and country music that are both soulful and sometimes dark but always life-giving.
Learning her first chords on a rented guitar at the Northern Bluegrass Circle jam in Edmonton, Decker began a relentless pursuit of music.
Decker continues to make music at her home in Victoria.
Tickets are $15 at the door or $10 in advance.
