The skilled arts community of Abbotsford gathered on Thursday and Friday evening to celebrate this year’s Song, Strings and Steps.
Talent was the theme for the variety show at the Abbotsford Arts Centre, which celebrated its 11th anniversary.
The event combined professional and amateur artists, dance and theatre.
The show featured the Abbotsford Youth Orchestra, Charlene Hart – a top 10 contender for So You Think You Can Dance Canada, and the Abbotsford Skipping Sensations.
An array of young talent was also on display, including Canadian yo-yo champion Charles Haycock and nine-year-old ukulele player Matthew Cheverie.
B.C.’s top ballroom dancers graced the stage along with music from Phantom of the Opera and Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony.
