West Shore artists and others across the country are being asked to submit a piece for the Aga Khan Foundation Canada’s upcoming national exhibition.
A travelling display entitled, “Together: An Exhibition on Global Development,” will be housed in a custom-built transport truck with 1,000 square feet of exhibition space, which will travel coast-to-coast for two years.
Until Feb. 2, artists can submit works showing why they care about global development. Entries will be voted on in an online poll running Feb. 4 to 25. The winning artist will attend the launch of Together’s 2016 tour in B.C. this spring, have their art displayed in the exhibition for six months as it travels across Canada, and receive a $500 gift certificate for art supplies.
For more details on how to submit your artwork, visit together.akfc.ca.
