Oct. 27 — Zias Stonehouse Restaurant in Summerland is hosting Moonbeams and Halloween From 7 to 9 p.m. A jazz quartet featuring Larry Crawford on Saxophone, Yanti on Vocals, Stefan Bienz on Bass and Allan Crossley on Piano will play some jazz standards with songs about moonlight and others with a Halloweenish theme. $10 cover.

Oct. 11 to Nov. 7 — Art Harvest at the Nk’Mip Cellars in Osoyoos brings the work of artists of the South Okanagan-Similkameen together from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
Oct. 15 — The Community Foundation of the South Okanagan-Similkameen presents their annual comedy festival at the Barking Parrot. This year’s lineup includes Bengt Washburn, Graham Chittenden and Erin Foley. Tickets are $65 and include dinner, a auction and the comedy show.
