June 23 — The Mule Nightclub kicks off the Penticton Elvis Festival with a pre-party

featuring tribute artists and more.

June 23 to 26 — The Penticton Elvis Festival brings the King to town for three days of tribute artists and much more.

June 25 — The Elite hosts the hauntingly nostalgic sound of East Vancouver ensemble The Staggers & Jaggs $10 cover.

June 25 — The Penticton Legion Branch 40 hosts a classic rock tribute night. Advance tickets $10 at the legion.

June 26 — Unplugged open mic at Shades on Main.

June 30 — Jez Hellard and the Djukella Orchestra join the Grist Mill concert series. Tickets $20.

June 30 — Funeral Service: A Rock ‘n’ Roll Tribute pays respects to the fallen rock stars of 2016. Tickets $10 at Tiger Alley.

July 7 — Scott Cook and the Second Chances join the Grist Mill concert series. Tickets $20.

July 13 -— Don Henley brings the best of the Eagles and his solo career to the South Okanagan Events Centre.

July 21 — Calgary-based band Flowshine come to the Elite.

July 22 — Country superstar Aaron Pritchett is coming to The Mule on Martin to heat up an already hot July night.

July 31 — Dale Seaman & Highway 97 and special guest Beamer Wigley visit the WI Band shell in Centenial Park, Okanagan Falls

Aug. 19 to 21 — The Ponderosa Music and Arts Festival takes place in Rock Creek.

June 25 — The Mule Nightclub hosts a ‘90s throwback party featuring Army of Sass.

July 1 — The 68th annual Cherry Fiesta, Osoyoos’ Canada Day celebration. The day-long, family-friendly event kicks off with a pancake breakfast, followed by a parade, children’s activities, entertainment at the Gyro Beach band shell, a cherry pit spit competition and more.

July 2 -— The Penticton Scottish Festival in King’s Park brings bagpipe competitions, heavy events, dance competitions, food and beverage vendors and a play area for the wee ones. Entertainment all day ending with the bands: Kinship and Maritime Kitchen Party.

July 7 to 30 — Many Hats Theatre Company puts on State of Confusion written by Vernon playwright  Michael L. Poirier.

July 8 to 25 — Tinhorn Creek Vineyard in Oliver is kicking off the summer for art lovers with an exhibition running throughout July from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

July 9 — After the launch of Have No Fear! an exhibition of works by Erika and Florian Maurer, the 557 Artist Block is inviting art lovers to join in  an intimate talk with the artists.
