June 1 — O Jazz Band will be performing at the Cobblestone Wine Bar and Restaurant at the Naramata Heritage Inn and Spa.

June 1 — Often compared to Tori Amos and Fiona Apple, Adaline takes the stage at Voodoo’s at 8 p.m.

June 2 — Mad Melody Records Topic Rap Battle World Tournament at Fibonacci Café starting at 8 p.m. This event features some of the best Okanagan hip hop MC’s going head-to-head.

June 2 — Peach Blossum Chorus, Desert Airs men’s chorus from Oliver/Osoyoos and Pen High’s Silly String Theory student jazz combo at 7 p.m. at the Shatford Centre. June 3 — Roots singer-songwriter Old Man Luedecke performing at the Dream Cafe with Del Barber. Tickets are $18.

June 9 — Dale Seaman and Highway 97 at the I.O.O.F. Hall in Summerland. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $10 at The Sweet Tooth and The Dollar Store in Summerland.

June 16 — Michael Musclow, Renata Z, The Darylectones at Fibonacci’s. Admission $5.

June 2 — Dj, dance and drum party at 157 Orchard Ave. starting at 6:30 p.m. A warm up for Okanagan Rhythm Festival. Tickets available at Red Bag Clothing, Dragon’s Den, Fibonacci’s or at the door.

June 1 to 3 — All the World’s a Stage, the year-end recital for the Penticton School of dance takes place June 1 at 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday at 2 and 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 and are available at the Penticton School of Dance.

June 11 — Artists opening reception at Saint-Germain Gallery featuring Carol Munro, Gillian Tucker and Brandy Maslowski starting at 6 p.m. Tumbleweed Gallery also hosting an opening at 4 p.m. Ad Hoc featuring a in-house artist at 6 p.m.

June 8 — The Vinos Wine Film Festival at Spirit Ridge Resort with award winning acoustic duo One More Girl headlining the after-party. Ten wineries will be pouring at the event with music by DJ Shakes.

June 9 — FAB (Fashion meets Architecture on the Bench). Spend an evening watching exquisite fashion and touring a custom built home on the Naramata bench. Proceeds to benefit South Okanagan Children’s Charity. Show at 2 and 6 p.m. Tickets are $75 or VIP for $125. Purchase at Vintage & Vogue or Adhoc.

June 11 — Penticton Centre for Urban Agriculture is screening independent feature documentary Land Awakening at Okanagan College campus lecture theatre. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with show starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door, Theo’s or Downtown Penticton Association. Q&A after with Ottawa-based director Raul Alvarez.

June 11 — Okanagan Visions is the title of a new show of fine art presented by artists from Naramata Art Studio at the newly-decorated tasting room at Lang Vineyards. The winery is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fammon Road.
