Aug. 3 — Oliver Community Arts Council presents renowned Canadian tenor Michael Burgess in concert. Concert is at 7 p.m. and tickets are $25 in advance at Beyond Bliss, BuyLow Foods, Oliver Parks and Recreation, Polka Dot Door, Jardin Antiques, Paw Prints Studio, Winemaster, S.O. June 21 — Third annual Margaritaville fundraiser, with proceeds going to support the Penticton Regional Hospital Pediatric Ward, presented by Coldwell Banker Okanagan Realty at the Best Damn Sports Bar. Tickets are $25 and include cheeseburger in paradise, margarita or corona and rum cake. Live music by the Rum Runners and door prizes. June 21 — Award-winning writer/performer Ann Randolph brings her critically acclaimed solo show Loveland to the Shatford Centre.Tickets for the show are $20. June 27 — Penticton Art Gallery’s 36th annual fundraising auction. This year the theme is Tastes of the Palette and will take place at the art gallery and Ikeda Japanese Garden where local chefs will create a colour-themed hors d’oeuvres.
