Nov. 2 — Experience the Beatles with Rain, direct from their phenomenally successful Broadway engagement. Rain is at the South Okanagan Events Centre, for one show at 8 p.m.

Oct. 14 — Comedian Lorne Elliott performing The Upside of the Downturn at the Centre Stage Theatre in Summerland at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 and available at Martin’s Flowers and the Dragon’s Den. A portion of the proceeds will go towards the creation of the annual George Ryga award for Social Awareness in B.C. writing and Publishing to be awarded in the spring of 2013.
Oct. 20 — For the 13th year the Community Foundation of the South Okanagan is bringing together three comedians including Matt Kirshen, Alonzo Bodden and David Crowe who were on the TV show Last Comic Standing.
