Back by popular demand, Cineplex Cinemas is launching a new event series that focuses exclusively on the Bolshoi Ballet.
The Bolshoi Ballet in Cinema allows audiences the opportunity to see world-class international ballet talent on the big screen, with seven presentations from the acclaimed Russian ballet company this fall and winter.
This season marks the seventh consecutive year that Bolshoi Ballet presentations will be screened in Cineplex theatres, bringing stunning performances from one of the world’s foremost ballet companies to hometowns across Canada, including Langley. Bolshoi Ballet in Cinema includes the timeless classics, The Nutcracker and Swan Lake as well as its signature productions, The Golden Age, The Bright Stream and more.
“The Bolshoi Ballet in theatres fully embodies the richness of what Event Cinema has to offer, by giving audiences an incredible cultural experience they could otherwise only have by travelling to Russia,” said Brad LaDouceur, Vice President, Event Cinema, Cineplex Entertainment.

• A Hero of Our Time (broadcast live) – April 9, 2017
