A new format for the popular Open Stage series in Cheminaus will be introduced April 16 at St. Michael’s Hall.
The doors will open at 6 p.m. with food and refreshments available. At 6:45 p.m. ‘sharp’ the open stage segment of the evening will begin, continuing until 8:15 p.m.
Then featured performers Shelley ‘Sweet Potatoe’ Brown and the Cam Stiles Trio take to the stage at 8:30 p.m. for an hour-long performance.
“You’ll be delighted with the bluesey, country, rocking style of this talented group,” says a release from the Chemainus Valley Cultural Arts Society.

There will only be room for four or five Open Stage performances per evening.
