A pair of punk bands who exploded in the ’90s are set to rock the Abbotsford Centre on July 7.
Abbotsford Centre announced today (Monday) that California’s The Offspring and Sublime with Rome will both be on the card for a big show this summer.
The Offspring have sold over 40 million records, and reached mainstream success in 1994 with their album “Smash.” The album has sold over 16 million copies, and is six times platinum in the United States.
Since then, the band has consistently released records, dropping albums in 1997, 1998, 2000, 2003, 2008 and 2012. They have a new album set to be released later this year.
Sublime with Rome is a collaboration between Eric Wilson of the band Sublime and Rome Ramirez.
The duo primarily plays songs from Sublime, which was fronted by singer Bradley Nowell until his death in 1996.
Sublime has sold over 17 millions records, and Sublime with Rome have released two albums since forming in 2009.
A special pre-sale for fans will begin on tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10 a.m. Tickets for the public go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
