Highway of Heroes was co-written and co-produced by the Trews and Gordie Johnson of Big Sugar. It was inspired by the 2006 death of Captain Nicholas Goddard from The Trews’ hometown of Antigonish, N.S. Canada’s Highway of Heroes is a section of the MacDonald-Cartier freeway named to honour those who have sacrificed all in service the country.
The pre-game performance will take place at the South Okanagan Events Centre at 6:55 p.m. before the Vees play the Vernon Vipers at 7 p.m. For ticket information click here.
The Trews will then perform a concert at the Mule on Martin. Tickets to the concert at the Mule can be purchased in person, at The Grooveyard or online at www.ticketweb.ca. Tickets are $30 and doors open at 8 p.m.
