Salmon Arm is adding its support to the residents of Slave Lake, Alta. A motorcycle toy run is being organized to raise money for the community that was burned out on May 15. The run will leave McDonald’s restaurant at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, go around Mara Lake and end up at the Hideaway Pub. The Salvation Army will be present to collect cash to deposit in an account set up at Scotia Bank.
