Bozzini’s Upstairs lounge will be the home of some incredible, world-class music this weekend featuring The Guitar Twins – Paul Pigat (Cousin Harley) and Diego Garcia (El Twangero) on Friday and Martyn Joseph on Saturday.

When two rockabilly virtuosos come together from different sides of the world for one special night, magic is bound to happen.

Join local master guitarist and singer/songwriter Paul Pigat (aka Cousin Harley) and Spanish finger-picking sensation and pioneer of western swing and ragtime in Spain, Diego ‘El Twanguero’ Garcia for a mashup up of rockabilly, flamenco, country blues, tango, jazz, ragtime and more.

“This is a very special, late addition to our schedule,” says Bozzini’s owner Emmanuel Asprakis. “Unfortunately, the Dream cafe in Penticton (one of Canada’s premiere venues) has shut down temporarily and we were able to step in and pick up this great show. The combination of Diego and Paul promises to be one of the highlight of 2016 for music, especially guitar lovers.”

The next night, Bozzini’s presents Welsh sensation Martyn Joseph.

He is a powerful singer and songwriter gifted with the rare ability to speak to the soul with his expressive and poignant lyrics.

With a career spanning 30 years, 32 albums, more than half a million record sales and thousands of live performances, the versatility of his music touches genres of folk, rock, soul, folk funk and Americana, yet somehow all these labels cannot define the spirit of his music.

Compared to Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer, Bruce Cockburn and Dave Matthews, he has created his own style and reputation as a mesmerizing live performer and stands in his own right, built on a reputation for giving what thousands have described as the best live music experience of their lives.

The Guitar Twins: Paul Pigat and El Twanguero perform Friday Oct. 14. Doors at 8 p.m., show at 9 p.m. Tickets $22.50.

Martyn Joseph is live Saturday Oct. 15. Doors at 8 p.m., show at 9 p.m. Tickets $ 22.50.
