Deadline to apply for international contest April 28

The Unsigned Only Music Competition is now accepting entries for their 2017 competition.

The annual music contest features $150,000 in prizes and is open to any musical artist, band or duo who is not signed to a major record label.

This is an opportunity for up-and-coming artists to have their work heard and judged by high profile recording artists and journalists from publications including the Rolling Stones, Paste Magazine, Yahoo Music and Entertainment Weekly.

The 2017 panel of judges feature several big names in the music industry: Aimee Mann, Sammy Hagar, The Killers, Montgomery Gentry, O.A.R., MercyMe, Phantogram, Grouplove, David Crowder, Delbert McClinton, The Struts, Ying Yang Twins and many more.

“We continue to be excited about the talent that is submitted each year to the competition from all over the world,” said founders/directors Candace Avery and Jim Morgan.

“The amount of talented artists is immeasurable, and Unsigned Only provides another avenue for musicians to gain exposure and get noticed. Our goal is to help artists get their music out there and further their careers.”

Deadline to enter is April 28.
