The Fraser Valley Watercolour Society, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, hosts its annual spring show starting Tuesday, May 20.
The show runs until May 30 at Clearbrook Library, 32320 George Ferguson Way, featuring a range of original new works by local artists.
Featured artists for this show are Pat Maertz, winner of the 2013 Artists’ Choice Award and the 2013 People’s Choice Awards, and Marilyn Vooys, winner of the 2013 Award of Excellence.
The show opens at 5 p.m. on May 20 and continues during library hours. A reception with the artists takes place Thursday, May 22 from 7 to 8 p.m.
There will be a free draw on May 30 at 3 p.m. for an original painting.
The society meets weekly and welcomes new members.
