• March 30 – March 31 – The Critical Mass Pop-up Gallery (#1-150 Birch Ave.) is presenting Robert Skot McMillan’s Myth of Creation. • March 30 – May 20 – The current Parkside exhibit will run until May 20. The exhibit is called Spring into Spring and the gallery will be filled with things such as local crafts, art, jewelry, weaving, baskets, pots, textiles, woodwork and more. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Tuesday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.
• March 30 – April 4 – The new Showcase Art Gallery, with a theme called Equinox, is open to the public. The exhibition went up on March 7.
• March 30, 31 and April 1, 6, 7, 8 – A play directed by Nicole Weir, titled Steel Magnolias will be on at Martin Exeter Hall. The grand opening is March 30 at 7 p.m. There will also be matinee shows at 1 p.m. on April 1 and 8. Tickets are $15.
• April 4 – The next artist in the Showcase Gallery will be Sheryl Fremlin with her work being displayed starting on April 4.
• April 9 – There will be a Mountain Fever bluegrass all stars concert at Martin Exeter Hall at 7 p.m. in 100 Mile House. Tickets are $20 in presale or $25 at the door. Call 250-791-9249 or visit www.mountainfeverbluegrasscamp.ca.
• April 13 – The grad fashion show at Peter Skene Ogden Secondary School will be at 7 p.m. This year’s theme is 90’s babies. Tickets are $10 and will go on sale soon. There will be raffle baskets and a 50/50 draw as well.
