From the end of April to Thanksgiving an indoor farmers’ market is held at the Sicamous Seniors Activity Centre from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday mornings.

Try out one of the 57 flavours of “Old Fashioned Ice Cream” at D Dutchmen Dairy. While you are enjoying your ice cream, take a walk around the dairy to see the farm and little exotic animal zoo.
93. ENCHANTED FOREST and SKYTREK ADVENTURES
Located on the Trans-Canada Highway between Sicamous and Revelstoke, in one of the beautiful old-growth forests of the Monashee Mountains. The Enchanted Forest is a unique attraction, a mystical setting for more than 350 Fairy Folk figurines and B.C.’s tallest grandest tree house. Experience adventure among the treetops in the Skytrek Park. Fly through the canopy on zip lines and face other obstacles on three courses.
94. LUNCH AND A MOVIE:
Come have lunch and a movie by donation at the Sicamous Seniors Centre every Wednesday at noon. Posters around town let you know what movie is playing that Wednesday. You can call the centre at 250-836-2446 for more information.
95. LABYRINTH
Located on the grounds of the United Church, the circular path of the labyrinth offers a meditative retreat that has been used by religious groups for contemplative prayer for centuries. For more information, call the United Church at 250-836-4390.
96. NARROWS VILLAGE
The Narrows Village is a private Wilderness Resort located directly east of Cinnemousin Narrows on Shuswap Lake, the most beautiful lake in BC. 97. LAST SPIKE
Located at Craigellachie, an area only 20 minutes east of Sicamous, the historic last spike of the railroad, hammered more than 100 years ago, is celebrated in a park complete with a cairn and picnic area.
98. MOOSE MOUSE SANDFEST
August is the time for a fantastic family event. The Moose Mouse Sand Fest with events and entertainment all day. The day starts with the Volley Ball Tournament so get a team of four together for cash prizes! Business, community support and information centers follow the walkway through the park. The favorite for the kids is the Bounce and Play that fill the park. And, of course, the work starts early on the Sand Castle Creations with participants of all ages. We wind up the afternoon with a concert and fireworks.
99. LOGGING HISTORY
Check out the unique Burner Bar and Grille and licensed restaurant that is constructed within a sawmill beehive burner. The vision of the proprietor Ray Hanson, the Burner is a living monument to the local logging and sawmilling history. The Burner is located at 4260 Oxbow Frt. Rd., east of Malakwa.
100. HIKING AND BIKING TRAILS
The newly developed Larch Hills Traverse offers 40 kilometres of trail connecting Sicamous to the Larch Hills Ski area. Intended as a cross-country trail for non-motorized travel, the route links existing forestry roads with six sections of trail designed specifically for hiking, cycling, ski, snowshoe and equestrian use, and will eventually become a part of the broader Hut-to-Hut Trail system spanning the Shuswap. 101. GOLF
