A great diversity of arts organizations throughout British Columbia receive community gaming grants to help support local cultural activities and art programs.

Community gaming grants also play an important role enabling non-profit organizations to create outstanding opportunities for British Columbians to enjoy and participate in sports.

Every year, the Government of British Columbia approves $135 million in community gaming grants distributed among specific sectors, including arts and culture, sport, environment, public safety, human and social services, parent advisory councils and district parent advisory councils.

Over 5,000 local organizations representing virtually every community in British Columbia benefit from this funding annually.
