Crafters make their contribution

The Community Dental Access Centre needs $70,000 to open in September to provide low-cost dental care to area residents.

The members of the Halina Crafts Group are there to help with their one-of-a-kind Tooth Fairy Pillows for anyone who makes a donation of $50 or more.

“We are delighted with the pillows. We have started the office renovations and everything is going well,” said Laine Lowe, of the Community Dental Access Centre.

The Community Dental Access Centre has raised $320,000 in the community and through grants and hopes to open the centre by this fall.

Look for the Smile Saver Challenge at events around the community.

For more information about the Smile Saver Challenge and the centre see www.communitydentalaccess.ca. Donations of $20 and more will receive charitable donation receipts.
