The Barriere Strong Start group paid a visit to the Barriere Fire Hall on May 30 with a number of youngsters eager to check out the firetrucks and equipment. Volunteer firefighters (l-r) Mark Tremblay and Todd English did a fine job of explaining, supervising, and interacting with the group in a positive and educational manner that may encourage some of these kids to come back when they are old enough to join the department.
