Get ready to roll Campbell River

Bike to Work Week runs from Monday, May 27 to Sunday, June 2

Are you ready to ride, Campbell River?

Bike to Work Week runs from Monday, May 27 to Sunday, June 2 this year.

The aim of Bike to Work Week (BTWW) is to encourage people to try cycling to work or school at least once during that week.

Why bother? Get exercise! Save money!

Prevent additional green house gases from going into the atmosphere.

If this isn’t motivation enough, how about the great team leader swag you will receive if you form a team and track your kilometres cycled?

Register a team on the Campbell River BTWW website (www.biketowork.ca) and be eligible to receive the coveted BTWW team leader package. It includes a unique BTWW T-shirt, product samples from Campbell River’s Healthyway Foods; a Koala Zero beverage, snap bracelets and lots of useful commuter cycling information.

You don’t have to be a new cyclist to form a team. Returning riders are encouraged to register. Families who cycle to work and school can register. Even a social group who normally drive to events can register, as long as they leave their vehicles at home and choose to ride instead.

Team registration is now open at www.biketowork.ca. Team Leader packages will be available to the first 100 team leaders and can be picked up after May 1 at the Sportsplex.
