When Norma Bradley had her long red hair cut for a shorter style last week, she donated the excess length to make wigs for cancer patients.
Bradley had her hair cut on Thursday.
She donated 38 centimetres of her hair to Pantene, for use in the wigs.
Bradley, who had been considering a shorter hair style, chose to donate her hair after several friends lost their hair while battling cancer.
“It was such a simple solution,” she said.
The recipients will not have to pay for the wigs.
