Although the holiday season is often a festive time of sharing and goodwill, for many who have experienced the death of a loved one, it can be difficult and overwhelming.
The Langley Hospice Society is offering access to information and support through the following offerings:
• Coping with Grief during the Holidays – Tuesday, Dec. 6 (morning and evening workshop)
This annual workshop helps those who are grieving access information and support as they navigate the often difficult holiday season. Daytime workshop is from 10 a.m. to noon, and the evening offering is from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. RSVP by Dec. 1.
• Journey through the Holidays Memorial Event – Thursday, Dec. 15 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Langley Hospice invites the community to join them in remembering and celebrating loved ones who have died, and acknowledge the grief journey that family and friends may be going through in the holiday season. This event will be held at the Supportive Programs Centre (20660 48 Ave.). RSVP requested by Dec. 6.
These offerings are free-of-charge and open to the public. RSVP by phone: 604-530-1115 or email: info@langleyhospice.com.
